In this correspondence, Fred Dumont Smith writes that he supports the proposed Industrial Court Legislation that would set up a tribunal which would make decisions concerning employers and employees of the coal mining operations. Governor Allen responds to Smith with "There is no lawyer in this country whose judgment I would rather have upon this bill than yours".
