This six panel brochure advertises the routes of the Kansas Pacific Railway Company, with emphasis on accommodations, both passenger and freight, from the eastern states to the west. Specifically, the company claims such features as, "Unsurpassed for safety, comfort and general satisfaction to the traveling public; the only line running Pullman Palace cars to Denver." An etching of the the Clear Creek Canyon, west of Denver, is featured on two of the panels. Another panel features the company's freight accommodations to Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Old Mexico. A sixth panel advertises the railroad's seven million acres of land that are available for settling. The reverse side of the brochure shows time tables for the Kansas Pacific Railway Company from Kansas City to Denver, Colorado. It shows daily express times and rates for first class passengers and emigrants; while another table shows rates and times for other origins and destinations. There is also a map showing the routes from Cheyenne, Wyoming, Denver, Colorado and LaJunta, Colorado in the west, to Leavenworth, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri in the east. This map shows all of the railroad's stations between those points. The brochure was engraved and printed by Rand, McNally Company, Map Engravers, Chicago.
