A flyer produced by the Rock Island Railway comparing their No.999 locomotive of 1913 with No. 999 of the Empire State Express in 1893. Pictures of both locomotives and comparison by engine weight, size of cylinders, boiler pressure and other areas included. The 1913 locomotive was manufactured by the American Locomotive Company.
