This is a photograph of a sixth grade class at Lincoln School, Topeka, Kansas. The teacher was J. M. McConkey and the student teacher was Marilyn Rogge. Originally, Lincoln School was built to house both junior high and grade school students, but it became solely an elementary school when East Topeka Junior High was constructed in 1936. The class is integrated.
