This banner map shows the routes of the Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad, indicating each station from Atchison, Leavenworth and Kansas City, westward to Denver, Canon City and Walsenburg, Colorado. It also shows the Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe land grant boundaries through Kansas. A number of communities, not on the route, are identified, including the location of three Mennonite settlements. A marginal note indicates that the map was part of the railroad's 1875 annual report. The map also includes two inset illustrations of Atchison, Kansas City, and Wyandotte, Kansas, possibly by Topeka artist Henry Worrall.
