A photograph showing people standing and sitting in front of Drovers Cottage, Ellsworth, Kansas. Drovers Cottage, which was originally built in Abilene, Kansas, was moved to Ellsworth as increased settlement and sentiment against the rowdy cowboys forced the trail drivers to move to other shipping points. By 1872, many Abilene businesses had followed the cattle and railroad west to Ellsworth.
