This letter from the U. S. Navy Shiiping Board informs Michael B. Gaynor of his admittance to the Marine Engineering School. Gaynor subsequntly wrote a brief history of his service on the back of the letter. Gaynor was a member of the crew of the S. S. Lucia and was killed October 18, 1918.
