A studio portrait of four generations of the Rood family, taken on the occasion of Helen Mars (Thomas) Rood's 90th birthday. In partnership with her late husband, George H. Rood, and their son, Ashley, Rood operated a successful and innovative farming, livestock, and feed business in East Branch Township and Peabody, Kansas, until her death in 1930.
