This is black and white photograph shows eight Harvey House girls standing outside of the restaurant in Syracuse, Kansas. The women, wearing modest black dresses with long white aprons, served meals to travelers at the Fred Harvey hotels and restaurants along the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway line.

Date: Between 1920 and 1929
