This brochure provides information about three state constitutional amendments that were before the voters in Kansas in November, 1966. It was prepared by the League of Women Voters of Topeka, Kansas. The amendments dealt with changing the length of the legislative session in even numbered years from a 30 day budget session to a 60 day regular session, with allowing the Legislature to adopt "by reference" portions of the Federal income tax laws, and with a number of items related to education including the election of members of the State Board of Education, the elimination of the office of County Superintendent among others. The pamphlet also contains some basic information about voting and about the organization.
