View of the Sellers Motor Car Company factory located at 705 South Main, Hutchinson, Kan. Formerly the St. Joe Motor Company, located in Elkhart, Ind., the company was purchased and moved to Hutchinson, Kan., in 1909. Sellers produced a high quality motor car with four cylinders, 35 horsepower engine and a full floating rear axle. Investors lost their money when it closed in 1912 because it could not compete with eastern manufacturers.
