A carte-de-visite with a studio portrait of a group of Kansa Indians who lived on the reservation south of Council Grove, Kansas. Some of the people are identified: Wa-mun-ka-wa-sha, with shield; Sha-ga-in-ka, with horns; and Margaret Ma-hun-gah, with papoose, belle of the Kaws.
