This pamphlet written by Porter Sherman is in response to a petition from a number of people in Wyandotte County urging him to run for the U. S. Congress. The petition indicates that the signers had been impressed with his service in the last session of the Kansas Legislature. Sherman outlines his principles and what he would work to reform if he was selected as a candidate and ran a successful campaign. His beliefs align with the Populist issues.
