This is a view of the 1911 Independence Day parade in Scott City, Kansas. The parade is led by a man on horseback, followed by a marching band and automobiles (one of which carries a large American flag). Also visible are spectators, horse-drawn carriages and a large, horse-drawn float, and many building and businesses along the tree-lined city street.
